These terms and conditions apply to the MediPaws app (hereby referred to as the “Application”) for mobile devices that was created by Upper Village Apps (hereby referred to as the “Service Provider”) as a freemium service.
By downloading or utilizing the Application, you are automatically agreeing to the following terms. It is strongly advised that you thoroughly read and understand these terms prior to using the Application. Unauthorized copying, modification of the Application, any part of the Application, or our trademarks is strictly prohibited. Any attempts to extract the source code of the Application, translate the Application into other languages, or create derivative versions are not permitted. All trademarks, copyrights, database rights, and other intellectual property rights related to the Application remain the property of the Service Provider.
The Service Provider is dedicated to ensuring that the Application is as beneficial and efficient as possible. As such, the Service Provider reserves the right to modify the Application or charge for its services at any time and for any reason. The Service Provider assures you that any charges for the Application or its services will be clearly communicated to you within the Application.
The Application stores and processes personal data that you provide to the Service Provider in order to deliver the service. It is your responsibility to maintain the security of your device and access to the Application. The Service Provider strongly advises against jailbreaking or rooting your phone, which involves removing software restrictions and limitations imposed by the official operating system of your device. Such actions could expose your phone to malware, viruses, malicious programs, compromise your phone’s security features, and may result in the Application not functioning correctly or at all.
You must be at least 16 years old to use the Application. By using the Application, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

The Application also allows authentication through Google Sign-In. By using this option, you agree to Google’s Terms of Service and acknowledge that certain information from your Google account may be shared with the Application as described in our Privacy Policy.
Some functions of the Application require an active internet connection, which can be Wi-Fi or provided by your mobile network provider. The Service Provider cannot be held responsible if the Application does not function at full capacity due to lack of access to Wi-Fi or if you have exhausted your data allowance.
If you are using the Application outside of a Wi-Fi area, please be aware that your mobile network provider’s agreement terms still apply. Consequently, you may incur charges from your mobile provider for data usage while connected to the Application, or other third-party charges. By using the Application, you accept responsibility for any such charges, including roaming data charges if you use the Application outside of your home territory (i.e., region or country) without disabling data roaming. If you are not the bill payer for the device on which you are using the Application, the Service Provider assumes that you have obtained permission from the bill payer.
It is your responsibility to ensure that your device remains charged. If your device runs out of battery and you are unable to access the Application, the Service Provider cannot be held responsible.
The Service Provider does not guarantee that data entered, stored, or transmitted by the Application will always be accurately recorded or remain available without loss, corruption, or error. You are responsible for maintaining independent records of your pet’s health information.
The Application is designed solely as a health tracking and informational tool for pet owners and is NOT a substitute for professional veterinary advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

By using this Application, you acknowledge that you are solely responsible for your pet’s health and wellbeing, and that the Service Provider shall not be held liable for any adverse health outcomes, veterinary expenses, or any other damages related to your pet’s health.
Premium Features
The Application offers access to certain premium features and content through paid subscriptions. Subscription options and pricing are displayed clearly within the Application.
Managing Subscriptions
You can manage and cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID or Google Play account settings. Deleting the Application does not cancel your subscription.
Free Trials
If offered, free trials provide access to premium features for the period stated in the Application. At the end of the free trial, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription unless canceled at least 24 hours before the trial ends. Any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited when a subscription is purchased.
Refunds
Payments for subscriptions are processed by Apple or Google. Refund requests must be submitted directly to Apple or Google and are subject to their refund policies. The Service Provider does not provide refunds for subscriptions purchased through the Application.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL THE SERVICE PROVIDER BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the United Kingdom.
The Service Provider may periodically update these Terms and Conditions. Therefore, you are advised to review this page regularly for any changes. The Service Provider will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms and Conditions on this page.
